On 29 November 2025 and 30 November 2025, the youth organisation of the so-called AfD plans to re-establish itself in the Hessenhallen in Giessen. Numerous parties and trade unions have announced protests against this. Yet the policies of these parties are now not so very different from those of the AfD. Parties such as the Greens and the SPD are also taking increasingly right-wing positions and implementing racist and misanthropic policies. Recent examples include GEAS, the establishment of concentration camps at the EU’s external borders and the racist payment card. None of this came from the AfD, but from the SPD, the Greens and the FDP. The trade unions are also opposing social and ecological transformation wherever they can (lignite mining areas, automotive industry) and are increasingly adopting right-wing discourse. For example, IG Metall is calling for rearmament, contrary to its statutes, and the DGB is propagating war readiness (euphemistically calling it ‘defence readiness’).
‘The AfD has long been shaping government policy from the opposition.’ Unknown
We therefore consider the protest of these organisations to be implausible. At the anarchist protest camp from 26 November to 1 December, we want to protest against the re-founding party conference of the AfD youth organisation in a self-organised, low-hierarchy, party- and organisation-independent manner and deal with the euphemistically so-called ‘shift to the right’ from an anarchist perspective.
If you also want to demonstrate against the AfD and its party conference, but are not interested in party and organisational propaganda, this is the place for you.
